Joining Community as a Labour Party member means joining an organised but diverse network of Labour members and supporters – from workplace reps to community activists to individual Party members - who share and support the common political objectives of the union and the Party.
Community's Political Weekends provide an opportunity to develop our activists and strengthen our political network. Our last weekend was at the end of November and was organised in partnership with Progress.
Speakers at our Political Weekend included Community MPs Tom Blenkinsop, Caroline Flint and John Mann and Greg Rosen of the Labour History Group. The weekend also featured workshops run by Blair McDougall from Movement for Change.
