Managing director appointed to TCP
Community Union today welcomed the appointment of David Reid as interim Managing Director of SSI ahead of its proposed acquisition of Teesside Cast Products.
Community Union General Secretary, Michael J Leahy, said:
‘David Reid is a good choice by SSI because he already knows TCP inside and out and worked alongside the unions to keep it as a going concern. Over the past year, we have developed a good working relationship with David and I am sure that will assist with discussions in the weeks and months ahead. David’s desire to make Teesside a world-class steel producer again is one that we share.’
