The Community website is divided into 7 categories, About Us, News, Regions, Union Services, Industrial Sectors, Frequently Asked Questions and Equality.
The About Us page offers an overview of the history of your union, with information on our structure and rules, profiles of union staff and publications such as our Union Magazine ‘Stronger Together’.
The News page reports national news that impacts on our members. This includes national pay negotiations, political lobbying or the impact of EU decisions.
The Regions pages report the activities of your Union locally. The Regions pages also spotlight local campaigns and industrial activity in your community.
The Union Services pages detail the benefits of Community membership. This includes the individual benefits as well as explaining the legal support services and the Member Service Centre. There is also a large section dedicated to providing Health and Safety information to our members.
The Industrial Sectors page provides a focus on the individual industries represented by Community. There are individual sites for Steel, Wire and NUDAGO, for Textiles, for the NLBD, for Betting shop employees and for former BUSWE members and workers in the social care sector.
Frequently Asked Questions cover topics from working hours and holidays, to maternity leave and leaving your job. All information is provided as examples only and members should contact the Member Service Centre with any specific queries on 0800 389 6332.
The Equality pages cover Community's equality agenda and the National League of the BLind and Disabled. There is also information on programmes for Youth members, women members, black and ethnic members as well as information on Community's European and Global affiliates
