Dear Community,
On behalf of my wife, Wendy, and myself, I would like to express our sincere thanks to Community for arranging and financing a wonderful convalescent break at Bridge House, Dawlish, at the end of last August. It was an excellent first class week, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and found very helpful.
I would also like to thank Mr W.H.E. Williams, our local branch secretary for inviting us and for arranging a very nice buffet and presentation afternoon for long service awards at Whiteheads club in Newport late last year. Many thanks to Walter for the ‘presentation photograph’, which I received recently.
Lastly, thanks very much to Community for the annual diary.
These benefits and this sort of excellent treatment makes one appreciate the value of membership of a tidy, quality and caring trade union.
