Community is holding information days at NSPCC offices around the country, to introduce the union, show the benefits of membership and explain the recent pay deal.

NSPCC Branch Secretary Alex Camm visits the NSPCC office in Manchester

National Branch Secretary Alex Camm visited the Manchester NSPCC Office.

Alex Camm, national secretary of the social care section of Community (BUSWE), introduced himself to potential members and other officers were available to answer questions and offer advice.

There were several people who wanted to know about unions and how they may represent them in the workplace. Some people joined filling out an application form to become a member after reading what the Community Union has to offer.

This will be an example for many successful open days for the future coming to each region. We will be contacting you in the near future with dates suitable with your teams for us to visit.
