Millions of Pounds are being invested in Teesside's steelmaking operations.
Investment is earmarked for both the ironmaking and steelmaking plants.
Steelmaking is undergoing major development with more than £19.6m being spent.
The majority of that money is being spent to improve the continuous casting machine that converts the liquid steel to solid steel slabs.
In Ironmaking, more than £1m will be spent on the blast furnace and more than £500,000 on the sinter plant which pre-treats iron-ore for the blast furnace.
The Iron and Steel industries in Teesside have been growing recently. This was the first calendar year to exceed two million tonnes for steel exports. Corus has also recently opened up a £3m private rail link from its TCP plant to Teesport.
