On Friday 25th January the Region 5 office hosted a presentation of 30 and 40 year long service awards for members from the District 2 and 3 branches.

The idea for the event came from Martin Keane, branch secretary for both branches, who was in attendance along with Executive Council members and regional staff. Regional Director Jenny Smith presented the awards and the event was well attended and enjoyed by all.
Receiving 30 year awards were: Eddie Phillips, William Boalch, Peter Bowyer, Malcolm Grimley, Denis O’Connell, David Jones, John Butler, Gary Hurley, Douglas Davies, Robert Gunstone and David Wilcox.

Carol Robins, Walter Welfoot, Kenneth Davies and Philip Bowen all received 40 year awards.
