Scottish Labour manifesto launch


LAUNCH OF THE SCOTTISH LABOUR MANIFESTO 2010 Monday 12th April 2010

Newly finished Motherwell College built on the site of the former Ravenscraig Steel Works, at a cost of £70m was where Jim Murphy, Scottish Secretary and Ian Gray, Leader of the Scottish Labour Group in the Scottish Parliament revealed the party’s Scottish manifesto.

Frank Roy MP for Motherwell/Wishaw who himself was a former “Ravenscraig” boy took great delight in being party to the launch within the Motherwell College state of the art building.

We were also delighted to announce that Pamela Nash is the selected candidate for Airdrie and Shotts constituency. Pamela is a young, vibrant individual who, if elected will be an excellent champion for the Labour Party.

Community is delighted to be assisting with the election campaign and is currently working hand in hand in distributing leaflets, stuffing envelopes, phone banking etc from within their own offices where members of the Labour Party are currently working from up to the General Election on 6 May.
