Who's who?

Community Union is a large organisation spread right across the United Kingdom. This page identifies the different departments in the union.

 

Management Board

The Management Board is comprised of the General Secretary, the Deputy General Secretary, the National Officer, the Director of Finance, the National Operations Officer and the Manager of Personnel.

The General Secretary and Deputy General Secretary are elected by all working members for five year terms.

 

National Operations Centre

The National Operations Centre is based in Kidderminster and coordinates the work of the regions and the union's campaigns.

 

Regional Staff

The Campaign Managers and Campaign Administrators serve and organise our members day-to-day.


Research, Government, Industrial and Public Affairs

RGIPA is based in head office and offers support to all functions of the union and ensures that the union complies with its statutory obligations.


Service Centre

The service centre responds directly to our members, as well as managing membership and benefits.


Events & Admin

Organises conference events, printing and mail.


Executive Management Administration Support

Provides administrative support to the Management Board.
