Community supports the campaign to end child poverty. The promise to halve child poverty by 2010 and end child poverty by 2020 is one of the most important goals of this generation.
The October 4th 2008 rally will bring together people from across the country to speak with one voice on the issue of child poverty.
being held in London, the rally will involve:
Short March - the event will begin with a short march led by children, and families, accompanied by bands, into Trafalgar Square. Please assemble at Millbank, nr Lambeth Bridge, from 11.30 am, the March will start at 12.30 pm.
Trafalgar Square - There will be activity in the square from 1pm, but the event will begin when the March arrives at 2pm. There will be children's activities, entertainers, speeches and a mass moment to ensure the Government hears the strong demand for a better future for all our children.
