Community Union hosted a forum on the future of industrial activism. Guest speakers included Rachel Reeves (MP for Leeds West), Gareth Thomas MP and Steven Radley (EEF - Enginering Employers Federation).

Rachel Reeves MP: Rachel is the newly elected MP for Leeds West. Prior to becoming MP, Rachel spent her professional career as an economist working for the Bank of England, the British Embassy in Washington and at Halifax Bank of Scotland.

Steven radley EEF (Enginering Employers Federation

Steven Radley

Stephen Radley: Stephen is Director of Policy at the Engineering Employers’ Federation, a post he has held since June 2008. Prior to that he was EEF’s Chief Economist. He leads their work on industrial policy.

Gareth Thomas MP: Gareth is a shadow minister for the Treasury and for International Development. He is MP for Harrow West and supported by Community. He is Chair of the co-operatve Party.
