Community Union has today concluded negotiations with Corus for the Strip and Long Products portfolio of businesses pay agreement 2010/11.
The agreement includes:
3.2% increase in all elements of pay
£200 one off lump sum payment
This agreement will be back date to 1st April 2010.
Community Union National Officer for Steel Roy Rickhuss said:
‘The Community Union delegates that attended and took part in the negotiations felt that this was a fair and reasonable offer under the circumstances and hopefully will give an opportunity for improved industrial relations.
The agreement also includes the establishment of working groups to review other terms and conditions including working time, family friendly policies and retirement rundown.’
